what i realy wnat to know is weather one high power 12" subs such as Kicker and Rockford are any depper and louder then say two lower powerd 12" subs such as The JL W3v2 and the Alpine Type R?

depends on the excursion capabilities, and cone design to a degree, a single RE XXX will outdo 2 JL 12W3V2's in my book, both for sound quality and volume.

lots.. circa 1600w RMS

RE do an SE model that is 600w RMS dual 4 ohm, and thats a very nice sub.

depends wat u want m8, im gonna go for 2, but then i want 2 for the aestetics not because i NEED 2 lol.
