yea mounting them to the C pillar is unsafe if someone hits you from behind which could cause it to crumple but otherwise it will be ok??
Mine are mounted there as i have nowhere else to mount them lol

As adam said the sides to front seats and original mouting holes on the floorplan..i know it's wee bit dangerous attatched to bolt on strut braces and cages but what about weld in cages or strut braces?

the cage doesn't seem to be secured very well.
i was planning to put 4p'ts around a rear brace, but may re-think if people don't think that's wise.
