need to buy a new laptop, obviously looking for the best value for money.
Ideally wants plenty of ram and a good processor.
Not a games machine, going to be used for work with programs like Sage/Autocad on it.
Anyone got any recomendations? Looking for something ideally around the £500 (ex vat).

I use this everyday at work. Had it about 12 months now. Could always chuck more RAM in it too:
Toshiba Satalite Pro M30
P-M 745 1.8GHz, 400 MHz FSB, 2 MB of 2nd Level Cache
XP Pro SP2
512MB RAM
60GB HDD
15.4 TFT w/s (19" TFT on Desk)
DVD R-W
802.11g
NVIDIA GeForce™ FX Go5200 64 MB
