yeah welding is a good way to do it, lead filing is even better if not a little more expensive, use a tiny amount of filler othewise they will crack, i like the idea its euro man

the lead... does it need to be strips or melted & poured to shape??
I have tons of lead at my grandads just sat there from all the old lead piping which I could use...

is hard to do and costly i think, ask M2RV H about it
think only a few have had it done, i know JAGCORSA had it done before it got turned into JAGCORSA

the lead has to be melted using a blow torch or similar,u'll need some wood and some lard,u melt the lead into the gutter on the roof and use the wood blocks to work it in,u'll need to rub lard on the blocks of wood to prevent it from sticking,when u've worked it in and its nearly in shape,use a body file to sand it to the perfect finished shape,then give it a light skim of filler
this is known to the body trade as lead loading(i've done it quite a few time myself)

haha adding lead, not good 4 performance cos of the added weight
I Sprayed my roof raild, they look quite good
