i will be geting the new M-tec conversion kit a xmas or the new year hopfully so i can try and fit Astra Gsi Rear Discs, think the kit just comes with brackets and whats not so il need discs and callipers but how do i fit the high pressure lines to the calliper? or how do i convert the line to a braided hose to fit the calliper?

u dont need an kit to fit rear disks.... everything u need is on a astra mkII gte 2.0 16v rear beam...
well maybe not the goodridge braided lines... these can be bought in lots of places... they just screw on....

so basicly i remove the drum and back plate then fix in place the disc and calliper tehn just atach the braided hose first to the high pressure line and then just bolt to the calliper?

nah ya need to take the whole rear beam off... theres welding and grinding involved...
the braided lines just screw on....

you didnt read the small print then on the old PVD site it said clearly that 'some welding required' with the m-tech kit...

if u mean the m-tech kit that costs about £90 then yeh in envolves quite abit of cutting and welding im in the process of doing it at the mo

u need discs callipers and the hub aswell. u DO NOT get the hubs with the m tech kit

Get a rear beam with hubs from an Astra Mk2, get the MTech kit. Happy days.

Plates to be welded to the Corsa beam that allow you to fit the Astra brakes.
New brakeline guides.
Works with both ABS and non-ABS models.

If you can make up the plates, then you can get away without the MTech kit, but with the MTech kit you know it's going to all be happy.
Some people also try to get round buying MTech hubs and driveshafts...
