i had this very same problem when i first got my corsa, it turned out there was something wrong with the cog or something like that. best thing get it to a garage. thats what i did with mine runs fine now like.

SUGAR mate SUGAR!

Top Fuel Dragsters run on a type of liquid sugar. Highly flamable - will give at least about 10 bhp increase in power and probably burn all the stuff that is causing you problems (i.e. blocked injectors)

My car goes like a rocket when I put a whole bag of sugar in the tank. What do you think people used before NOS?
