ie has integrated popup blocker
windows firewall has been completely overhauled
now has DEP code protection (try stop against virus's, but instead causes lots of shit)
keeps winging if you download & run programs from your documents folder (like setup files)
keep pestering you to get antivirus & if your definitions are 10mins old, starts blasting you with its own popups saying your computer is at risk
fcukes up the scanner & camera connection wizard (to download piccys)
fooks up P2P networking (limits TCP/IP connections to a max of 10 at anyone time, so network & internet performance can seem slower)
still has the ghey fault that if your using the zip extractyion wizard & close down the folder its extracting to it kills explorer & the startmenu dissapears
says SP2 like adam says...

It's better, and more secure.
Plus it contains most of the updates released on Windows Update.
If it does stop your P2P software working, there's an easy fix to get it back working again, but I've never had problems.
And you CAN turn off the Anti-Virus warnings to stop it bugging you about it. Or you can just update your virus checker, Windows only complains if the Virus checker tells it to (or it can't communicate with the Virus checker).

Get it.
Windows is broken, so it needs fixing.
SP2 contains loads of updates you need.
Whatever extras you don't like can be turned off, the updates you need.

Its not a service pack to fix faults, it's to fix vunerabilities.

I've never had a single problem with it.
It installed fine, nothing's stopped working and nothing's playing up.

I've got SP2, the only thing is that if you use EPC it won't work after installing SP2.
