ummm not sure wot engine it is i know on the 2litres there is a bleed valve thing on the front i guess its same for all engines maybe!

i never put wd40 on spark plugs cos i though they had to be dry to work?!?!?!

it is a mighty 1.2 8V .........

i always thought wd40 was good for electrical contact

the end that sparks wants to be dry but that is in the cylinder anyway so its safe

umm not sure wot else it could be, so long as its sparking and there if fuel going through then it should fire up!!!

cant think of anything else, could try taking all the electrical plugs apart and spraying some electric contact spray in there thats good stuff! iaz

if its not running it either doesnt have fuel a sp[ark or compression maybe running a compression test might help if you any means

a stab in the dark check the coil pack
is it turning over but not fireing if so check spark on each plug see if there is any mostiore (sp) in dizzy cap and check if all your HT leads are conected proper and also the coil one
my mate had the same prob about a year ago and it was the coil pack connection switch was not on properly started 1st time after cliping fully on

Remove the spark plugs and make sure they are dry (ie. no moisture) check HT leads have no moisture either.

Then maybe jump start it in case your battery is dead.

try new plugs and try cleaning the inside of the dizzy cap if its the 1.2

If it's the 1.2 8v you can remove the black bit from the top of the bit where the throttle is at the back and see the fuel coming thru if you get someone else to rev the car.
(Presumably the throttle body )
