Hey
Im going thru loads of red bulbs at the mo. Because I have the clear rear lights I need the red bulbs, but they don't last long!
Is there anywhere I can get red LED's instead?
I take it they would last a lot longer?
Thanks

The problem is that you're going through a lot of red bulbs... ever thought to find out why you're going through a lot of bulbs?

Red bulbs should be good for about 6 months/year.

I just always thought that it was because of the heat fading the red?
They start going orange!
But if you have any idea why this is happening any help is appreciated?
Thanks

its true, i've tried 3 different pairs of red bulbs, and they don't last very long. It will change to orange and then just completely fade out into white.

I just got 2 pairs of leds, one pair for brake and the other for sidelights.
Although the sidelights are just as bright as the brake lights, which looks kinda wierd to me.

We used to sell the Ultra Truecolor bulbs and if they didn't last long enough, they'd go back for a replacement set.

Don't just accept they don't last long - make a nuisance of yourself!

you might have a problem with having leds for sidelights.

the surround is too narrow for the LEDs to go through.
