My uncle came round yesterday in his latest motor, he has got a Honda Civic 1.6 VTI VTEC. It's an S reg one with the bug style lights, UK car.
Anyway he took me out for a spin and these things are rapid!! Wouldn't rate the interior as being particularly sporty but it flies. The VTEC as well, it had us grinning

Whats the stats on these? 0-60 and top speed?
What tuning bits are out there for them too? They hold their price really well!

had a play with a CRX (same 160bhp engine) the other night and that was very close indeed.

Amazing little cars when you think that they are only 1600cc

Ok there are 2 versions of the 1.6 Iv-tec civic type S

until 2004 the 1.6 had perfomance of 110bhp, however a mat eof mine has a revised version 2005 that produces 175bhp from its 1.6 engine

Went to autosport motorshow at nec at weekend and there was a company there that would supply and fit a supercharger to the civic type R taking BHP from 197 to 440 for £4,500 including warrenty etc.
They had one there that had done 10,000 miles with no problems. Transmission apprenty is good for 450 BHP on the type R's. They had an offical document stating that from Honda
