Well this will sound fucking stupid, but ive never driven a car without PAS steering before, my car was advertised as PAS but I cant find the bloody tank so I don't know whether or not it does!

ITs a 98' Breeze, should I have PAS?

It might have electric power steering like mine.Mines a 2000 1.0 12v.

if it has PAS there most likely will be a light beside ur dials that will light up when turn the key to ignition or when u start the car up,

cant remember as my w reg 1.2 16v has PAs and it had a light beside the dials but i cant remember when it came on

As said above on your clocks when u turn on the ignition , not starting the car u should see a small "EPS" that lights up then goes out once the car is started.

I'd dread to drive a non PAS car, mine feels relatively heavy compared to dads mondeo, thats why I had doubts about the corsa.

Breeze = Sunroof and power steering.
