I don't mind these there's loads of different engine in those coupes 2.0 16v 2.3 2.6 2.8 I don't really know much about them other than the same as any other audi - expensive parts, probably heavy on fuel but quite reliable and pretty sure they aren't lightning fast oh and for the added special factor princess diana used to have a convertible :lol :

Well built, share lots of parts from the VW bin, so cheap to maintain. Friend of mine is Audi mechanic - I can ask him if there is anything in particular to look for on 2.6 V6

mate at work has had 2 of the earlier shape ones with the flat fronted bonnet (seperate grill).
i like em.
still look good, go well, and really solid.
interior is a little naff, but otherwise they're quality.

Drink fuel, high insurance, not all that quick, expensive to keep on the road.

Nice looking cars and if you can find a good one, you get a lot for your money.

Bit of smooth luxury motoring, go for it if you can afford the running costs. Get a good one it will last you forever.

thanks for all the opinions!

The garage also has an MR2 GT in at the same price, what do you think about them.

I will be test driving them both on friday/saturday. Theres also a cali 16V for 1K less lol but im unlikely to go for that tbh.
