I'm looking at getting a new setup for my new car (when i find one and sell my current one !!) and want to know what you lot think i should get. I'm after SQ, but want it v. loud and bassy if poss.
I was thinking focal, RE etc. I'm after a set of 17cm components for the front door, either one or two 12" subs and a couple of amps (one to power components, one for sub(s)).Will my budget be enough ???

Have you got all the wiring, sub boxes and are the doors sound deadened. £500 aint alot for SQ. Best bet maybe look at second hand equitment.

if you want focal and RE new with amps to make them sound like they deserve then no your budget wont cut it, each of my amps is near your budget, to power my comps and subs...
But i have gone for high SQ over anything else, if u want SQ with some volume available u need to look at a good 12" single sub IMO, i have only gone fpor 2 for aestetics in new install, would rather have one.

My mate has just got an account with autoleads and hes selling 2 x mutant 12", 2 boxes, a mutant x mono block and a 1200 watt wiring kit for 270 quid its all brand new, if any one is interested U2U me and ill get bak to you within a week, i think hes got quite a few sets to sell

My sub and amp are available, £500 plus postage. Kicker S15L7 and Ground Zero GZNA2600 amp.Hardly used tbh. The L7's have won a number of SQ competitions over in the states.

Hey there i have for 2 * kenwood Subs, 1 Kenwood amp and a custom made box and i think it it real loud with a thump. It will be easily so much under your budget let me know
I can do it for £175.
