can I ask what coming from morecambe mean

LAD are based in Morecambe.

I was impressed with the power of the car, bloody quick for a 1.6!

As for the gearbox, its on its 2nd now and its only done about 50k. Using a Saxo VTS one this time. Surely thats the same as a GTi gearbox anyway?

out of interest what car do you drive. even compared to a GSi the GTi will be impressive

I drive a 1.2 16v Corsa which yes has not alot of power!

BUT last night I was in the passenger seat of my mates Skyline R33 GTS which is pushing out approx 290-300bhp and the 106 was behind us. The 106 wasnt too far behind us upto about 100 but after that it couldnt keep up with us. and the guy that drives the Skyline knows how to drive it before anyone makes that comment!

Just cos I drive a slow car does not mean that I have not been in plenty of fast cars before to compare a 106 GTi

106 is small. when kindness was doing 100mph in his supra it felt like 60 in my GT. and a 106 would not stick with a 300hp skyline R44 GTS
