could someone please just give me a list of everything ill need, as in hardware, cables ect to build my own system.

got router at the mo, so thats cool. as ive got the WI-Fi card too.

CPU cooler, DVD-Rom, floppy disk drive, keyboard, monitor, mouse, round IDE cables, case fans, neons, hard drives,

will any case fit everything, or do i need a specific case?

basicly i want to build my own, as it looks reasonably easy, ive done a bit before, fitting sound cars ect.

and no where stocks the sort of thing i want, im either paying loads for stuff i dont want/ need. or there isnt anything there thats right

floppy drives someitmes come in handy when things go wrong!

yes especially if your using a SATA hard drive, u will need drivers off a floppy

does 'onboard 5.1 channel sound mean i dont need a sound card?

no u dont but it will probably be crap, u wont need a usb card either as the motherboard will have usb slots in it

for 800 smackers i would buy a mac

or atleast have a go at building a pc, because you could build something really pukka for 800

btw, do you need new monitor, mouse, keyboard etc??
