Can anyone help me, My engine electronics light comes on at high speed usually about 60-80 mph it only seems to happen when the engine has to work a little harder e.g. overtaking or going up hills. If i dip the cluthch it goes out when my revs drop down to 1000. If someone can help that would be good save me getting ripped off at a garage.

Engine would be useful. Im guessing a 16v with dodgy egr thingmajig

do a paper clip test and read out the fault code (it on topbuzz.co.uk)

then it will tell you whats up

could be a multitude of things tbh so its not worth guessing
