Suspension...

Im currently sitting on Eibach Sportline springs and GMax shox all round.

Ive been offered Spax RSX coilovers (fronts ONLY)

If i changed my rear springs to some 60mm ones (Not sure on brand) with the GMax shox and then used the coilovers on the front, will there be any big problems or will it be ok?

Yours Faithfully

I dont think so mate, cause the kit i have is adjustable at the rear and not the front so i would of thought it would be fine but thats IMO

and ive been told that when u get coilovers, the rears are just normal shox and springs, is this true? or at least is it true for the Spax RSX?

The Fk's on mine are proper coilovers upfront but rears are still separate springs and dampers but the springs sit on on adjuster.

Brand doesn't matter but compression characteristics may, I'd say don't mix as its a bit of a unknown quantity but they won't be miles away.

If anything you'll just give the car a tendency, you'll find out which on a hard drive.

If the front is softer than the back it'll oversteer, if its harder it'll understeer.

There are many other factors to consider but thats the main one.
