i used to go alot, spent loads on gear for carp fishing. still go the odd once a year now never find time.

Fishing, hmm I enjoy going and relaxing down the Thames, but after about a hour of not catching anything I start throwing mud in the water and pretending that they are hand grenades hoping that the fish just float to the top.

un hooking them is fine. when u land them they dont move at all really. but they are awkward to hold for pics

know what you mean about cat's being awkward to hold!!! Last trip to france I just layed them on the mat to take pics!!!!

Hopefully going out to Spain to fish the River Ebro later on this year.... my mates just come back and had cats in excess of 100lbs and carp to mid-30's... cant wait!!

that 30 came in really easy actually. was 11 0'clock at night and id only been there a few hours. but i had 20s that put up a good scrap

Canada is another place I would love to go, carp fishing on the St Laurence River and Sturgeon to over 200lbs..... wow!!

I have been struggling down my local water so spent the last 4 weekends at Drayton Ressy, Had over 750lb of carp in 4 7 hour sessions, emptied the place with over 300lb on saturday, carp between 7 & 18lb i had 34 carp when there was only 3 others caught all day.
I rock like a biatch lol

these kind of sessions gotta be done to keep you going through the winter months fella, nothing has been out of my regular pond for about 3months now, so Ive been fishing elsewhere. Places Im fairly confident of bagging a couple

at our local lake, is full of old english carp, a real heritage lake we have had problems with certain immigrants poaching the carp and eating them, was some amazing fish in there the really dark looking leathers
