Ive got 2 12" W3 JL subs in my car which im running off a Rockford Bd 500.1.

Ive just bought to more W3's and now need a new amp. I want to run all four off the same amp. Was thinking something like Rockford's Bd 1501 but dnt think you can buy it any more.

Anyone got any other suggests for amps or no of any where you can still get the Bd 1501's?

I do like the new Rockford T20001 Bd but can't really stretch to the £700+ price tag.

Any suggestions appreciated,
Cheers, D

for one amp to power all 4 u will be looking at am amp that can supply 1600w RMS + IMO, to give a bit of overhead.

Which voice coil options are the subs? Dual 2, 4 or 6 ohm?

2 W3s run perfectly off a 500/1 amp so either 2 of them or maybe one 1000/1!

thanx for the suggestions.

The power figures for the Velocity amp Ritchie suggested are great.

Any1 had any experience with their products?

Im not sure the Bd1000/1 has enough power to run the 4 Fear.

Could b wrong but as Adi said need nearer 1600rms so im not runnin the amp to hard.

best to have more power than not enuff and then just keep the gains down.

my front comps are rated 2x 80w rms and are powered by a 2 x 200w rms amp and sound great off it.

my sub is 300w RMS off a 300w RMS amp and it sounds strained, deffo want overhead imo and plenty of it.
