Right it was only a matter of time before my engine got bitten by the bad idling bug and its carrying on!
changed the idle control valve and its changed nothing sadly, but i have noticed that the engine is pulsing, revs are rising and falling erratically and their is a ticking noise coming from somewhere near the inlet manifold (sort of underneath)
Does any1 think this could be a fueling issue/injector issue? any other ideas?
Thanks

got same problem, engines idles badly, like bounces between 600-1300rpm.
my engine sounds really rattly, is it an easy problem to fix on my own or will it be better to take it to a garage?
mart.

where abouts is this pipe please mate? everything looks connected but u never know!
yer the exhust definetly puffs stops puffs stops in line with the engines revs rising and falling.
Mart your car sounds like its doing whats mines doing except mine is undriveable as it drops from 800 to 200rpm
Also I have noticed that the note coming from my performance airfilter has changed dramatically as in it sounds alot more high pitched when compared with the original low grumble
its getting diagnosed 2moz at a garage with a proper code reader so fingers crossed it finds something!

try the throttle body hose, its the big fat one between the upper inlet manifold and throttle body.
