Nice car BTW
ive tried to explain this to people and they dont understand,
300bhp through the front rims is gonna spin lsd or not,
in my experience it sometimes makes its worse with lsd as once both spinning its wont stop,
id still put one in my box and its better round corners as the wheels dont brake traction as easily and like tim_rud says aids handling!

Like Kev says there are advantages from an LSD.
But soon as it rains it makes NO difference, plus it can make the car harder to drive in some ways. Like if you back off it can pull you hard one way (e.g. on the motorway across lanes!). Plus tight turns can be a nightmare.
I'm happy without, but each to their own!

i had it in my mk2 gte turbo phase 3.5,

used to pull you right across road (into other lane in wet)
im used to it without now its just practice and you can drive them well without

Kev is right about the dangers, they can really catch you out!
IMO learn to drive it without, will be more satisfying anyway
Most of all just go out and enjoy the car, that what it is there for!

I see you tested out my theory then Timbo? Few of the track geeks I drive with (very experienced dudes) read the usual c20let numpties bang on about how an LSD is essential, the laughometer burst after it read 4bar.

I've not tested out the theory, I've just been asking questions to people who have them and seen there is a negligable effect!
LOL @ the laughometer!

Looks ace as it is, but i dont think a bit of smoothing, say door handles, Bonnet, Boot badge & lock would hurt it .

Doing smothing on that shape astra just looks wrong. A kid did it round our way, and it looked a joke to be honest.
