Whats the best way to restore a faded red car.
I've just bought a 95 sri and its starting to fade a bit

Most peolpw will say that the writing is on the wall once it has started to fade but..
I found using a polish with a ild cuttting compound in it works well, Depending how bad it is it may even be woth having it machine polished this is where a body shop will use a cutting compound (like t cut but better) this then nedds a god coat of wax afterwards
Autoglym products are good
I would use original colour restorer then super resin polish, then extra gloss protection

THe one door and wing has faded more than the rest so need to spend more time on them i guess?

Use a high speed buffer with some g3 compound (keep the bodywork wet), then auto glym super resin then auto glym extra gloss
Also, only use 100% cotton polishing cloths.

i gave mine a tcut all over (do it once a year) then every other weekend wax it with super resin polish...
