Its an R plate 1.0 12v 3dr merit.
Headgasket and CAT have gone.
Ive also got a mk2 Astra GTE 16v with coscast.
Think i will go ahed with the conversion once things pan out with my project nova
Couple of questions
What engine mounting issues will there be with this engine into a 1.0 12volt bay? What kits do people normally use?
I understand i can use the mk2 astra gte shafts and hubs as long as i machine the corsa hubs out to take them, can anyone confirm this?
Having done this into my nova 1.0, i came across a few problems that i wouldnt have had if my nova was a 1.2 or bigger, does this also apply to corsas with the 1.0 12v?
Apart from various little things like electronic corsa speedo and that, are there many other things to take into account to get the corsa starting and driving??
