Know how to do it...is well easy. If any one want rear disc beam making up, supply me with the bits and i'll chop and weld it for you (at a small fee). 5 stud v6 rear brakes also possible.

This is what I was sent a while back. Hope it helps.
First you get your donor beam mine came from the k reg cavy sri I got my 2.0 16v from then you
unbolt the hubs, that lets you get at the spacer plate that is welded to the beam
and has the holes with the hub to fit,
carefully grind off the beads of weld from each side of the plate try not to buff into the plate as you need it.
Then you get your corsa beam I got another from the scrappy
for £20 so as to keep my car on the road and you unbolt the drum
hub and remove the spacer plates from the beam taking care not
to grind into the beam this time ,chuck the small corsa plates and
offer up the cavy plates you will see the difference right away, clamp
the plate onto the beam , I set it so that the plate is level with the
top edge of the beam and the hole in the middle centred ,you have to
be very accurate to get both sides the same as this affects where the wheels will sit in your arches but dont worry too much as theres not a
lot of room on the beam surface so you can't go far wrong then weld
the plates onto the beam. The hubs bolt through this plate so the welding does'nt have to be ship building standard, but i like everything to be strong as f so i had a mate seam weld around the plates,
Then I drilled out the beam at the cavy spacings in the plate just
welded on and opened out the centre hole to suit the abs type
hub that later cavys and astras have, (leave this as it is if ya dont have abs) early mk2 gtes dont have the
lump sticking out the back so will just bolt straight on (they also
have bolts through the hub not studs and nuts like the cavy)
then I bolted on the hub the top 2 nuts will need a bit of relieving
cos they are very close to the edge of the beam now ( I went to a local fastner suppliers and managed to pick up 2 bolts with an alan key head that where the same thread and size as the standard ones, this made life a lot easier as the heads on the bolts where a lot slimer and also was able to use an alan key to bolt them up, therefore no relieving required )
This took me about 4 hrs to do, the metal is quite heavy so you
need a good drill with sharp bits a grinder, access to a welder
Next is to sort the h brake cables, you can use the standard main corsa cable and an early ( I used a 1987 ) short nova cable. Run the main cable from the handbrake to the driver side rear disc and use the short nova cable from the passenger rear disc to meet up with the main cable on the adjuster bar.
