My XE feels so much better with new alternator belt fitted..old one was a 5 ridge one but 1 ridge completly gone...burnt / worn away

could this be because a better charge is getting to other components???

dunno but.......

I fitted a huge battery which my mate borrowed for me from Vauxhall, and changed the altenator belt, but I think my altenator is shagged too as the battery gauge still runs down

will let you know if i notice a difference once I change the actual altenator, but im sure it responded better after i had fitted the brand new battery... !
