My sub just seemed to stop the other day when it was going?
I turned the car off and it wos working fine, then i went into Macy D`s (Not relevant really) then turned the engine back on and the sub stoped working???
Really confused why it isnt working!!!
The amp says its on and the RCA cables are all in place!!!!
Anybody know wot it could be?

Cheers

check all the wires if you havent allready. Take the sub out of the box and check the speaker wire is still connected to the sub and that the wires havent come off the speaker binding post. And also check that you havent melted the speaker binding post like I did once

triple check the fuse on the powercable. If necessary get a voltmeter (or watever it is) and see if theres current running through the cables

but make sure you do check the speaker binding post really well as it took me a while to work out that was the problem cos it had only melted ever so slightly but it was enough to stop it from working. Try it in one of your mates cars and see if it works

its def not the remote as the amp has power going to it and it turns on!
i will maybe chnage all the fuses to check those as i have spares so no harm in changing them, i have checked the binding very carefully and it doesnt seem to be damaged at all!
will try another sub in case it may be the sub!

sounds like the sub coil is damaged or completely fried in your case!

coz thats what happend to mine! i put the gain up to high and fried the bastad!

but mine came on every now and then for short while, couple of seconds at a time!

not nessarily true.
Does the power light on your amp come on when you start the car, or just when you switch your headunit on?
Check this, and let me know.
