Any sensible assessor will check over the car and decide weather or not the modifications contributed to the crash.

Items such as lights, although not standard he will not be bothered about. As for the skirts, they could have being a standard item.

He may however pic up on your alloys, which i very much doubt.

if anything my mods saved my life, if the car wasnt lowered on a full sussy kit with wider tyres etc i would have had less chance to slow down
