on speed and power of cars! not best driver just which car is faster?
ok my car 1,6 corsa sport piper cross air filter exhaust and dbilas inlet manifold vs corsa gsi with straight through exhuast and 4 branch manifold?

Yes. dbilearse should give you around 15bhp more.

so even though his is a gsi mine should be faster yea? wont a straight exhaust
and 4 branch manifold give around 15 break 2 joff?

Think it will be very even, unless you have raised you rev limit, and he has 17" alloys on there.

it will be very close, but you *should* win as you have mor epower, but it's whether it's enough to make a differance at all.
If in doubt take yoru spare tire out, back seats etc....

race him on a private road and find out!!
Gsi- standard good condition engine about 109BHP + straight exhaust, induction and manifold= about 115BHP max
sport- standard good condition engine about 106BHP + exhaust, induction= about 110BHP + inlet manifold = 125BHP
from what you have said, and on basis both cars have good condition engines, same weight, and similar/equivilent size alloys/wheels would easily give you the edge 
uprate internals and stick in a uni-chip to give raised rev limit of about 7200rpm should bring your power to around 135BHP+ and u will kill him in a race
