i fitted some 17" wheels last night. there supposed to be et45.
the rears were arches were sittinng on the wheel and the fronts scrub going over bumps etc.
the plastic arch wouldnt be a problem cos i could just grind it down but it also was catching the metal on the rear.
took it for a spin and wore away a lot of tyre and plastic. lol

can anyone help me on how to sort out the arches?

for the rears i was planning to remove the plastic arch and use a grinder to take away a bit of the metal, remove arch bolts and grind down a bit of the plastic.
what can i use to stop rusting? normal body paint?

the fronts arnt too bad but i would rather have more room for them.
not sure what to do on them as it catches the plastic arch cover thing.

i really want to put these wheels on, they look exellent.

fk is always too low... i wasn't able to drive FK75/50 with 14" ...

FK 40/40 is twice as low than my autotechnics 40/40...

i had falken tyres on my old alloys. the wall of the tyre slope inwards and gave me more room to clear the arches.
i think i will fit those tyres and do a bit arch work.
does anyone know if that will help?

does anyone know where i can get a cheap set of falkens in the north east?
the offset is not stamped on the wheels. does anyone know what offset toora alloys come in?
they are toora t240 17"
