Sounds good. Better than Ghost Recon 2? I know that isn't a WW2 game but it's still my fave game on Xbox.

well so far ive found its better than MOH or COD
you can tell your men to move o certain positions and supress fire, also the weapons are more realistic, firing is more realistic, and there is an option where you can view the battlefield and view round to see where the enemy is and work out your attack

Call of Duty II - Feb 25, 2005 @ 03:47 PM
In this month's issue of PC Gamer magazine, there was an article about Call of Duty II. This article is posted no where online so here are the basic facts.
Call of Duty II is going to take place in Africa during World War II. With campaigns in both Eastern and Western Europe aswell. Game play will include more open senarios. This means that you are allowed to attack objectives in any order that you would like. The game Call of Duty II will use a completly new game engine.
Campaign mode will play in any order that you would like to play. That means no more start to finish! The campaign includes one American campaign in Western Europe, one Russian campaign, and a British campaign in both Normandy and Africa. The developers are still deciding about adding a campaign from the German perspective. The campaign AI will add new features as the squad-mates shoot at Germans behind you are tell you where they are. There will be 15 new weapons and some new vehicles added to Call of Duty II.
There are no details on multiplayer yet. So just wait for more news on Call of Duty II.
This article was posted in the April 2005 issue of the US version ofPC Gamer, this is not an official release from Activision or Infinity Ward. Screenshots were included with the article but no where online this article is posted. This is a shortened version of the article posted in PC Gamer. I agree David, what I don't like is that one man can take so many hits and still survive, should be 1 hit and your dead, unless hit in the shoulder/arm/leg etc
