hi everyone, I'm new to this and was wondering if anyone can help. I just put some focal access 130 speakers in the front doors (still running off the standard headunit tho) and there every time you put anything with any bass in it at all on you get a crackle. Is it more likely to be the connections or do I just need to change the head unit? Any ideas

try it with the door pocket off, it might be the cone touching the door grill

1. Headunit wont be able to power those enough produce decent bass.
2. Standard wire isnt that amazing.
Now u could get a new headunit, that will make things better, but still wont be good, to get full petential from those speakers which are a god choice i would get an amp to run them

I had them in my old fiesta (glad to see the back of that) and they were fine. I'll take the door off and see if it makes any difference. I think the amp may be the long term solution tho. Thanks 4 the advice
