Dont get me wrong, some Cav turbos look nice but that thing is a clapped out old piece of crap!
How can anyone think that is gorgeous? It just looks like any other old taxi chavalier with a different front bumper and some shocking rims? With that mileage it probably has been a taxi!
I must have missed something?
. Why have an old car with old technology (I mean, check the transfer boxes on them)
you mean almost the same as those found on R32's
R32 what? Golf or the Nissan Skyline? And if you are talking of the Skyline, which one? GTS? GTS-T, GTR?
Whts funny about that aswell???

Golf. Uses a viscous coupling transfer box, same as those found on Cally/Cav Turbos. So its a bit unfair to say its old technology if its being used by VW in their former flagship hot hatch

THE R32 GOLF!!! Your joking!!!! Not that awesome piece of machinery!!! 240bhp from a 3.2 V6! Breathtaking!!!
Yes it also uses an "internal combustion engine" same as those found on a Cally/Cav turbo. Its not the same one though!!!

Yeah, I would! They aint too bad really and I like the fact they are a bit of a sleeper. But Ive got to say summat when everyone is getting stiffies over a bit of a rough looking ex taxi with 145,000 miles!

just cos i dont like old cars dont mean i like chav motors wiht neons, i lovre old cars such as mk1 gtis and mk1 escorts but i think the cav is like a modern day mondeo with a fast lump.
ill give the cav its repsect engine wise, the c20LET is an awesome piece of kit i just think its a bland looking car.
