First of all I will point out that this is leni posting coz I need some advice!
Currently looking at getting a Corsa Gsi - seen one with 112k on the clock at £500 - needs full new suspension at the front end also.
Anyway, is their anything I should look out for on a GSi and also is it advisable to get the engine rebuilt with this kind of mileage?

Unfortunately there is no hard and fast rule on this. Also normally the valve stems seals start to perish at 80-90k, which will show as a smokey start.
The best way to assess a engines healthy with out opening it up is a compression test.
I'd say that it would be best to put a timign belt and pulleys and water pump on it.
Then see how it runs. then if it does indeed need a rebuild you have the water pump etc.. already.
Best to suck it and see.

how much do M reg Gsi's go for now a days? This is £495 but needs a new front bumper, suspension and slam panel but the engine hasn't been damaged at all by the looks of it

can pick em up for bout 1-2k depends on mileage and condition
stem valve oil seals
egr valves ( on later models)
air flow meters ( earlier models)

It's a 95 M reg sassy - you had loads of problems with yours didn't you - would you say to give it a miss!
and just looking at the pics again it needs new suspension all round!

Suspension isn't a problem, that's the easy bit.
I wouldn't bother with another Corsa.

i had load of probs with mine yes, but i also crashed it the day i bought it, which im sure didnt help
problems i had in 7mths were.
timing belt snapped and bent 8 valves
driveshaft and cv boot went
idle air control valve buggered, and egr valve was gone,
mysterious idling problem for the last 4mths of havin the car - never resolved i gave up after spending about 400 on sensors! 
and loadsa niggly things too, speedo snapped at gearbox end etc
mate had one and stem valve oil seals went on his and his had less mileage than mine
its a case of finding a good one, however i know not many garages want to work on them cos theyre an inlet off job everytime something needs doing, theres more space to work on a c20 XE than a gsi engine

sport is just same engine as the 1.6i GSi, only difference its a newer car!
Had my GSi now for 8 months... so far, nothing major has happened (except the loom got singed behind the dash so spent a whole day/night sorting that out)
but its pointless classing the GSi as the 'worst offender' for faults, as all corsa's inherit the same faults in one way or another...
its a case of luck tbh with these cars!

stem seals are easy to fix anyway, takes a whole day, £40-50 (depending where you source the h/g set, but GM ones are the best plan)
that and timing belt+roller kit 70
Most other faults are just from lack of care and a bit of TLC in the right hands and it's sorted.

I thought Sports are eco tec and GSI was not, therefore the latter was slightly faster??

Later GSi's & Sports have the Eco-Tech engine which has less power and isnt as quick - really theres not a great deal in it as ive owned both!!!

Yeah as I said not enought to notice....I owned both - 94 GSi which I killed after 2 months then got a lump out a W reg Sport to replace it and it was none different when it came back - 2nd engine probably a bit better even cos it was newer no flat spot like my GSi had from day 1
