Its definatly the spark plugs causing it to misfire. I went down the bypass earlier and at about 3k it starts misfiring and isnt a happy bunny. I thought it was only happening in 3rd gear but i accelerated slowly in every gear and theyre all the same.

It has NGK PFR6B's at the moment but im replacing with NGK PFR7B's. Should give a better spark and theyre recommended for modified anyway.

Im gonna start it up when it gets dark and check the leads for any sparks etc to be on the safe side.

i had a prob with really low idle on the pulsar have spent five hours today, four of us, only to find it was the bailey dump valve causing the problem. fitted my sard bov and its running like a dream again

No sparks from around the leads so pretty sure its the plugs.

how much are plugs for that i priced some ngk's for pulsar today incase we needed to get some to eliminate that and they are a tenner a peice

That's exactly what was wrong with mine marcus!

Felt like it hit a brick wall at about 3K in 2nd and 3rd but it was only intermitent.Got some 7B's in her now and all is gooood Gaps were well off.

NGK's shouldnt be that expensive

Iridium's are around 7-10 each

Have a look on http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk for soem prices.... very fast service too
