am looking for a bit of rear fill as when i open my boot the bass is much louder than the treble. i have already bought a set of 17cm infinity's.
my first idea was to drill two holes in the side trims and have them there but im unsure now if they will fit.

what have guys with the big sound systems done???pictures or links would be a great help thanks!!

firstly i had some spare panels to work on so was a bit easier, i removed all fabric first by lots of cutting and pulling, then i marked out the 6x9 shape drilled a hole then jig sawed out the shape, had to file down some bits, and then i bought some fabric, used lots of spray glue and covered the whole thing, cut slots for 6x9s then fitted it in the end looks like this -

A set of comps in there could be nice - with the midrange in the rear cards and the tweeter on front seatbelt pillar (facing towards rear folk) - although how much depth is there to play with on the rear cards?

And did you guys sound deaden behind the cards?

looks good though, but im not sure about the 6x9s, would have used coxials at worst

hes insistant keeping his 6x9's, i might even put them in sealed boxs room dependant.
