Hey all,
today removed my factory filter and installed a pipercross kit.
My corsa is a 96' and has this thin red wire from the filter to what looks like the engine somewhere. i think some1 told me before this effects fuel economy? what shall i do with this cord now?
Also the piping from that went from undernearth the factory filter, to what looks like some sheet metal covering the manifold? is this needed?
would be great if ya coudl clear up my problems with my wording lol
if ya not understanding me i coudl possibly get some picture
Thanks all

iirc you need to put a screw down the red wire (vaccum pipe) and the thicker pipe can be removed

Put a screw and a larger washer into the end of the red pipe, then tuck it away.

red wire from what I remember, is on C14NZ / C12NZ / C14SE...
tis a vacuum hose - it goes from manifold to the air-box to select hot/cold air-feed...
i just ripped mine completely off from my old corsa (red wire that is) and never really had any issues with doing that...
