rite the c16xe is out...took me a couple of hours a few cups of tea and some prawn cocktail crisps bit its out,pics to follow in 5mins
What I would like to know is what can i put on to an engine to get all the alloy nice and clean, as in get all much off and the whitey growth on my old engine to refit it etc... I will also be cleaning the engine bay so any advice much appreciated, hoping to get gbox on the 1200 tonite and clean the bay, then drop engine in tomoro

aaaah mines going bk to std tho no big engine for me im afraid...selling it to get a corsa sport and keeping it subtly

the product 'peek' from halfords will get the alloy all nice and shiney, and lots of elbow grease

peek is gud, about 5er a tube, i got some if u want to trial it before spending money. failing that, i think i read somewhere about putting stuff in a dishwasher? surely ur mummy wont mind

yep as said take head off and all alloy bits and stick it on a few cycles in the dishwasher with a power ball will come out gleaming
