2 ways to check, either look at gearbox and see if a wire or cable is coming off it. cable = cable. or remove the speedos and look on the back see if there is a cable... then its cable driven  . Does the car have abs?

no abs, its for a friend cant see her getting under the car  or even picking up a screwdriver for that matter...

"if im correct *not 100%*" if no abs then it wont be electronic. Corb should be able to confirm that

look for a w or a k after the MPH on the speedo!
W is cable
K is electronic

or if the speedo starts on 10mph......cable
if it starts on 0 mph......electronic
