last time i heard you could get screwed big time by your insurance if you have an accident (those of you who are insured under a parents name).
insurance cottoned onto that loophole ages ago.

i cant remember the details, it must be well over a year i read about the case. pretty sure it was someone on sw-cc, but basically the guy was insured under a parent and he was driving the car daily, his parent hardly ever using it. he got screwed by the insurance and i seem to remember points on his license.
if i wasnt banned i'd run some searches for a better idea but, pan's still not forgiven me it seems

No having a go at you guys about it, insurance is damn silly costs these day But it's not hard for a insurance company to put 2 and 2 together.
small engined young perons car, body kit stereo etc... and there son is named on it.
The owner is also insured on a [insert adult type boring family car here] which they can check as they have access to the insurance data base.
And unfortunatley robert is your fathers uncle.
The up shot, is the companeis know it happens, and take the money, but as soon as you claim, they will say bye bye. gay insurance companies it's a liscence to print money

yes, annoyingly, adding a female partner under your name does help lower premiums.
my mates just bought and insured an alfa 145 2.0 cloverleaf, and by adding his missus hes saved over £300. fcuking scandalous. shes not even gonna drive it, hes not telling her shes insured to drive it
