was downloading at 200k+ so wasnt that bad
Just got your vol 5, sounds more liverpool hardcore (ie: what munchie mixes), but so far (first track) sounds alright
edit - btw what you using to mix?
edit 2 - been listening to it for abit mate, and the only serious error i hear is the volume adjustment on track 7 towards the end. Could easierly be fixed in something like Acid etc Being picky, some of the mixes are abit out of time, but only very slightly....but sounds pretty mint mate
But a pretty mint set mate - just sort the volume out
edit 3 - just got your vol 4, and its sounds good, but you're seriously riding the levels, distortion is creeping in everywhere (sounds like analog distortion which is worse) But good set eitherway mate
edit 4 - just a quick tip mate. If you doing your set on decks etc and feeding it into your pc, then get a real-time recorder (like cool edit, soundfordge etc) where you can see the waveform whilst its being recorded...means that you can see when it starts to clip/distort etc. Also, set it so that your about -1 to -2db below 0 when recording. Then once your set is completed, normalize it and if it needs more volume, then wack a compressor on it to up the volume a dB or so, whilst still compressing it for 0db etc Also, you can go to about +1 or 2 db before digital distortion kicks in, but it all depends how your sound editing software handles it as it can cause clipping, plus different CD players (if your wacking it down to red book audio cd) will either like it or hate it - you will get pops and typical "grit" if it doesn't
