how do i find it

i aint got msn.exe or run.exe when i do a search

I found the Msn in C: but wont delete, so i diabled the run.exe and it still wont delete

you need to disable all 3 of them if they are in the proccess list

dont format c:/


press Ctrl+Alt+Delete
go to prosesses and end

- msmsgs.exe
- msnmsgr.exe
- run.exe

go to start>run>msconfig click startup tab
scroll down the list and untick

- msmsgs
- msnmsgr
- run

now restart your system

when your system restarts click ok on the screen that comes up and go to

mycomputer>c:\> and delete msn.exe (right click delete)

then start>search>run.exe

delete the result

restart your comp.

done..

thats what i have done and it hasent had the effects like it did b4.. im not sayting this is the propper way to get rid of it but it seems to have worked on my system

Edit: Don't forget, if you do want MSN to start up when your PC comes on, you'll have to do that in the settings or go back and do...

go to start>run>msconfig click startup tab
scroll down the list and tick

- msnmsgr
