i have my MOT due in june, i got a damper which is knackered, oil comes out the strut. will i fail for this? (stupid question, but i thought i wud ask  )
plus what are common problems too look out for, or wear and tear items which i need to check on a C20xe conversion, CV joints? bearings? etc. as i will do my 8k service on the engine next month, and wanting to keep on top of looking after this engine.

it might not fail but at the end of the day if its losing oil it wont be doing a gud damping job.

i know when im doing a service on vans or trucks and the shockers are leaking we change them. i suppose if any oil leak is major enough is a fail.
