Going to be doing on for a simple project for college, shouldnt be hard to do i just am wondering what material is best to use and how its held inside the box.
Very curious how the top link works

its simple... u see the chrome pipe, the air filter goes on the end of that, its just a usual air filter like any other one, most probably a cotton gauze one tho like Race-x then that carbon shiled is just a really tight fit over the chrome pipe and thats it.... no rocket science - its a standard air intake with a scoop going over ure air intake and leading to a cold air feed point... make sense?

If there's a good supply of air, then the scoop would work very well, only limited by the diameter of the pipe it feeds.

yeah it would trap air into going that way, but some of these induction pipes seem to be pretty small........but then i guess it can only be the size of the throttle body its going into so it must be correct.
Thanks for the pic though, i thought there couldnt be much to it. Is there anywhere to get filter material or anything, they seam expencive even for a filter.
