I can get you those parts cheap Front pipe got the cat on it like my old SRi?

New Sump i should be able to get..
water pump may cost £20
tb kit - if you need tensioners and shit it will be expensive but if you just need a belt anything up £15 less my discount
Front pipe - I could maybe temp repair it for you

front pipe not really needed.

need the tensioners and all that with timing belt and just thew water pump. find out the cost for me bud and ill let you know

will give you a shot of the GSi for helping me out lol

FFS I'm sick of hearing people complain about Ecotec engines.

At the end of the day, yes they ARE tuneable, and yes problems do happen with them - same as ANY OTHER ENGINE!

If you have a car, you have to maintain it. Problems only come about because of eventual wear of components, or lack of maintenance, simple as that.

most parts that make an engine ecotec would be replaced by any serious tuner

The only thing that would probably stay is the block, even then the internals would probably be replaced!

AJ I phoned for the prices and Davie was going to phone me back but i had to leave and get John (M40COO) to give him my PS2 Memory card for the A-S GT4 Challenge at PVS! Will phone up in Morning for the prices

k bud dont get paid for a week anyway, thot it was just a bolt wanted to make sure before i started takin bits off, cheers

Davie says he might not be able to get the Speedo Cable but i'll try gettin through a Mate who works for VX (staff discount )

dont need to remove the 10mm bolt to get the cable off. just unscrew the shroud that covers the cable. you only need to remove the 10mm bolt if you want to take the speedo unit out.
