Buckmore Park – Outdoor 1200m track – Chatham, Kent (Junction 3, M2)

Event summary:
Full drivers' safety briefing.
Practice session for all competitors.
Minimum of three point-scoring qualification heats.
Top drivers' Grand Final.
Presentation ceremony including bubbly and trophies.

Cost per person:

90min Micro Grand Prix ( for 10-15 drivers ) :
Prokart = £72, Thunderkart = £82

2-hour Mini Grand Prix ( for 16-30 drivers ) :
Prokart = £67, Thunderkart = £77

3-hour Super Grand Prix ( for 30-50 drivers ) :
Prokart = £62, Thunderkart = £72

Note:
Additional £10 per person for weekend dates.

BAYFORD MEADOWS (cos its 5mins up the road) but not all that great i dont think.

I think the best rack is Buckmore park, I had a look on the way to work this week and its REALLY wide track, and has a very good reputation. Its also close to Bluewater, only 10mins up the motorway, so would make good for the karting/bluewater/southend plan. But the weather could make it shit.

Rayleigh is indoors, so wouldnt be affected by the weather. but the track looks nowhere near as good.

lydd or buckmore. ive been round lydd and its a good track ive not done buckmore though. its a good track though my bosses son races there every other week

If we did Lydd, its a lot further to travel to bluewater then southend is the only reason i didnt consider it.

yes lydd is abit out of the way for alot of people and especially far to go to southend after.

ok buckmore park is the mutts nuts, i loved it, rayliegh fun though although it depends what ur after, stupid quick outside or a bit slower inside, all in all whatever we do its gonna be a laugh
