I planning on changing the clocks on the astra to 160mph turbo clocks from a calibra.. but my MOT cert has the current mileage and the new clocks has lower mileage is this going to be a problem with the law or anything?

get your new clocks Dean... Grab a Drill find a Bit that will turn the Bit at the back, And put it to the Current Milage your old speedo is at..
think it's legit doing that way!

dont think your alowed to tamper in any way. Think u hav to get a certificate or some sort of proof showing the real millage of the car and the millage on the clocks at the point of swap over

Its legal to change the clocks as long as you document it and don't try to misrepresent the car when you sell it.
You're not allowed to tamper but adding mileage won't require to you to open the clock unit.
