It popped a driveshaft out on the way up, also is a pretty new engine and he needed it to work so he could get home... But when you're doing stuff like this you need to get over the initial problems, when it finally works though it should be pretty rapid

was talking to adam for a while and he seems like a top bloke, yeah he said the mount that holds the split shaft bearing had broke off on the way down, quick call to one of his mates in leeds and tthe use of a pit and a welder and the problem was sorted. engine looked mint.
4 hours to take off a manifold though!!

Set off and did about 70miles and the baring went.....
theres a Baring which hold the Split shaft the the Block, and that baring went so the middle of the shaft had no suport at all, so was wobbleing like mad.
-Rang RAC got dragged to my mates house
-Borrowed his mums car went to get a new mount with baring (J100RSA )
-went back fitted the new baring and shaft
-filled up with gearbox oil
-back on the road running about 3 hours late
