OK my car has started making a weird noise, every time i apply more acceleration theres a noise that sounds like air or gas & the noise increases the more i accelerate, however if i dip the clutch or stationery the noise disappears 
I jet washed the engine bay yesterday with the engine running would this have affected it in any way
the car in question is a C16XE GSi.
the cam belt was replaced 10k ago along with cam belt rollers.

vacuum pipe could be loose. Have a butchers around the engine

tbh mate PVS was today  everyones way to excited about that to read this  its sad.... but alas, true....
btw, chec u didnt blast any pipes or connections/fixings loose when u jet washed

isnt your air box loose? or the pipe connecting to the injector unit?
