and i was wrong , im going to keep the current 40mm trumpets, and get 20mm spacers which are needed to allow a backing plate for an airbox, saves me around 300 quid lol

How come? Are they too big?

Thats the only problem with 2.0xed corsas, the engine sits right back in the bay. I had a nightmare with trumpets and had to use individual socks in the end! Not too bad with Novas as they seem to sit closer to the front of the car!

Another advantage with the Nova is that you can cut the top of battery tray out as its not structual and still looks tidy and allows a lot more air into the TB's.

Think the 2 litre fits in the Nova much better, looks like it was made for it!

40mm plus the 20mm spacers give me 60mm which im guessing is ok, i dont wanna hack around the bulkhead as im trying to get the car done for saturday for the next rwyb at santa pod

You lot are in denial, get a Nova for 100% pure fast track action, easier, cheaper, lighter.

Only trouble is finding a Nova which is'nt rotten in the first place
