If you get the bolts incorrectly positioned, would this cause the bonnet to hit the wing ?
The reason im asking is that i sold my carbon bonnet, but since fitting a standard metal bonnet the passenger side wing gets caught on the bonnet when i shut it, i have to push the bonnet over as i shut it to miss the wing.
Any ideas?

Yeah there's adjustment in the hinges bolts where they meet the bonnet.

could the bonnet hit the wing if the alignment was incorrect?

Yes.
Where is it catching? Near the headlight or near the windscreen?

There should be rubber stoppers on the bonnet which you turn to adjust.

Adjustment at the hinge is best with another pair of hands to hold the bonnet whilst you whip round with a 10mm socket.

i had this problem when i fiited my bonnet struts, its easy to sort out iceman, just keep putting the screw in different places and then see what happens, i think i had to lift the bonnet from near the window, lift it up towards the sky, cause then its going to sit away from the corner. if you get me ahh anyway just have a play and you will get it rite.
